Bella Luna Farms Bridal Session – Belle Lumiere Film Workshop

I can hardly believe that six months have already passed since I was on location at this beautiful farm near Seattle, Washington.  With the start of a fresh business year, I am so excited to have a bit more time to now share more of the work and soulful photographs I have had the privilege of creating last season.  Although this gorgeous setting is quite far in distance and very distinct in it’s landscape, I believe the wedding inspiration that can be found from my time of creating and learning at Bella Luna Farms can be used to inspire elevated pure farm (or really any outdoor) weddings in Ontario as well!

Although farm or outdoor weddings can feel like a completely blank canvas to begin with, which can be daunting in terms of logistics for some, designing the memorable elements does not have to feel this way when you draw from the landscape.  Since you will be spending a significant amount of time, if not the entirety of your wedding day, surrounded by the natural setting, using it as your inspiration and keeping your details cohesive and complimentary of the location will create richness and authenticity for your celebration.  Amy of the Gather Design Company curated the details for this bridal session so perfectly.  One can easily see how she drew her inspiration from the rich forest that surrounded this mountain farm property and complimented the rustic vibe with whimsical, soft, and pure touches to create a gracefully romantic wedding celebration.   Pairing natural and farm elements – fresh wheat, crab apples, curly vines, and rustic woods with charming and delightful romantic details – delicate ribbons, soft linens, wispy flowers, simply stated jewelry, loose curls and a chic gown elevated this farm wedding to dreamy level effortlessly.

Allow more consideration and budget to the elements of the day that will heighten the celebration for you and your guests and that you will value in your heirloom photographs and wedding day memories.  Some detail examples of such considerations could be:  distinct paper goods that set the scene for your wedding; flowers that compliment the environment and naturally add beauty and dimension to your bridal outfits; classic hospitality touches for your table settings; and delicious pairings of seasonal local menu for your wedding meal.
Pure and simple touches are the perfect compliment to enchanting natural settings; having the opportunity to marry the love of your life in such a celebration would be unforgettable.
